HERNDON, VA, December 9, 2013 - UNICOM Government, Inc., (UGI) a leading provider of IT solutions supporting the missions of government agencies, today announced that the Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded UGI as one of the fifteen primes that will compete to provide technology development, implementation and maintenance services under the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract to the Department. The award spans the next five (5) years, with an additional two-year option period, without requiring requalification, and has a maximum contract value of $22 billon. UNICOM Government is a division of the multinational IT solution provider UNICOM Global.
EAGLE II is the next generation of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to deliver solutions in three functional service categories. UGI received an award in the Unrestricted Track of Functional Category 1 – Service Delivery, which provides a full range of services and solutions in support of developing, implementing and maintaining technology to support the DHS mission and business functions across the entire lifecycle of a program.
